　　第二”的英文翻譯是：second，一般它是一個序數(shù)詞，但second作名詞時還有另外一個意思是“秒”，一秒兩秒可以簡寫成1s，2s，這里的“s”就是second的簡寫。

　　second 有形容詞性，意思為“第二的，次要的”；也有副詞性，意思為“第二，其次”。有時為了不讓second有歧義，如果second在句子開頭，一般使用“secondly”表示副詞形式的`“其次”，如果second在句子中，則使用“the second”來表示“第二”這個序數(shù)詞。
