  Enhancing our scientific and industrial technologies in such areas as IT, Bio- tech, AI and Cybernetics.

  Further develop public infrastructure in under developed regions. Promote education reform at all levels.

  Introduce sustainable development initiatives.

  The implementation of free trade agreement between China and ASEAN. The benefit to China in introducing these initiatives will be significant and far-reaching. It is important to realize that these initiatives need to filter down through all elements of the society in China. For instance, cutting edge technologies and intellectual properties; the development of e-commerce based economy; an education system that encourages innovation and creativity;

  increased foreign investment; higher living standards; more efficient use of natural resources.

  It is important for us to realize these reforms are both essential and necessary. These will help China to fulfill its vast and unrealized potential on the world stage.   中秋節(jié)是中國一個很重要的節(jié)日,在八月十五號。在節(jié)日來臨的前幾天,家庭中的每一個人都幫著打掃房子,把房子裝扮得漂漂亮亮的,燈籠掛在屋前。

  晚上有一頓美餐,離家在外工作的人也要回來團(tuán)圓。晚飯后,人們點亮燈籠,一般是紅色的圓燈籠。孩子們會高高興興地玩他們的玩具燈籠。

  晚上月亮又圓又大,人們在賞月的同時吃著中秋節(jié)特別的食品——月餅。人們在一起回顧過去,展望未來。據(jù)說天上有一條龍,它要把月亮吞下去。為了保護(hù)月亮,孩子們要弄出很大的.響動把龍嚇跑。

  每次爸爸做紅燒肉的時候,我總是第一個搶著吃,全家都說我真是一只小饞貓。所有人吃到爸爸做的紅燒肉都會豎起大拇指,贊不絕口。爸爸做的紅燒肉可真是色香味俱全的美味佳肴呀。

  暑假的一天,我突然想學(xué)做紅燒肉了,就請爸爸幫忙。我和爸爸先去買五花肉,然后把肉和菜清洗干凈,再開火倒入少量的橄欖油,放入一把冰糖,等到冰糖全部融化變成深褐色時,放入切好的五花肉迅速翻炒,讓肉上都掛上紅紅的糖色,一塊塊肉立馬變的晶瑩剔透非常誘人,然后倒入適量開水,再放入蔥、姜、蒜等調(diào)味料,開大火燒開后改用小火慢燉三十分鐘,香噴噴的紅燒肉就做好了,然后放入盤子里撒上香菜滴上幾滴香油就可以上桌了。

  剛開始,我還不相信這個故事,可親自品嘗后才有所體會。有一次爺爺生日,我們到位于東街口的'聚春園吃飯,爸爸特地點了佛跳墻,不一會兒,一個大壇子端了上來,服務(wù)員剛打開蓋子,濃香四溢,久久沒有散去。

  我不禁產(chǎn)生疑問:“這是用什么時候東西做的?一問才知道,原來是用魚翅、海參、鮑魚、干貝、火腿、雞鴨、羊等十幾種食材做主料,加之花菰、冬筍、紹酒、桂皮、姜片、白蘿卜為輔料,經(jīng)過蒸、炸、泡等幾種方法烹制,封貯于壇中,食前用谷糠皮文火煨熱,啟壇時香傳十里。我的天哪!這么多種食材,這么多道程序,我可要好好品嘗一下閩菜的頭把交椅——佛跳墻。
