跟優(yōu)習(xí)學(xué)口語(yǔ)交際
今天是兒童節(jié)，很多成年人也開(kāi)始“搭車”過(guò)這個(gè)本來(lái)屬于兒童的節(jié)日了，為的是懷舊回憶童年，也為減少工作和生活的壓力。
1. in ones second childhood 返老還童
My father bought himself a toy train, and my mother said he was in his second childhood.
我爸給自己買了一個(gè)玩具火車，我媽說(shuō)他真是返老還童了。
2. sleep like a baby 睡得香
Nothing can wake me up. I usually sleep like a baby.
我睡得很沉，沒(méi)什么東西能把我吵醒。
3. kids stuff 很容易的事情
Climbing that hill is kids stuff.
爬那座山太小兒科了。
4. like a kid with a new toy/like a kid in a candy store 很開(kāi)心
Every time Bill gets a new gadget for his kitchen, hes like a kid with a new toy.
每次比爾往廚房里添個(gè)什么新物件，他都像一個(gè)得了新玩具的孩子一般高興。
5. new kid on the block 新來(lái)者
Im just the new kid on the block. Ive only been working here for a month.
我是公司的新員工，才來(lái)了一個(gè)月。
6. latchkey kid 掛鑰匙兒童（指因?yàn)楦改该τ诠ぷ�，放學(xué)后獨(dú)自在家的孩子）
My dad came home ateight in the evening and my mom only an hour earlier so I was a latchkey kid.
小的時(shí)候我是個(gè)“掛鑰匙”兒童，我爸晚上八點(diǎn)才回家，我媽七點(diǎn)回家。
7. a whizz-kid 有為青年
Theyve taken on some financial whizz-kid whos going to sort all their problems out.
他們請(qǐng)了些金融天才來(lái)幫他們解決問(wèn)題。
8. a love child 私生子
He allegedly has a love child in Australia from an affair with a much younger woman.
他們說(shuō)他在澳大利亞和一個(gè)很年輕的女人有一個(gè)私生子。
