早在1974年初，在廣大的Pink樂迷中開始流傳著一部外包裝精美，名為《British Winter Tour'74》的非正式專輯(估計(jì)是從樂隊(duì)供小范圍試聽的小樣拷貝得來的)，里面收錄了樂隊(duì)新創(chuàng)作的三首歌曲“Raving and Drooling”、 “Gotta Be Crazy”與“Shine On You Crazy Diamond”。大家普遍認(rèn)為它是樂隊(duì)未來的新專輯。但最終只有“Shine On You Crazy Diamond”被收錄進(jìn)《Wish You Were Here》專輯，其它兩首后來則被改編收錄在兩年后出版的《Animal》專輯里面。不過在他們舉行的名為《Wish You Were Here》的75巡回演唱會(huì)中還特別表演了這兩首曲目�！禬ish You Were Here》專輯中收錄了包括《Welcome To The Machine》在內(nèi)的5首歌曲。
